Do you want to add a withdrawal address to send assets to, and is this an address from your own self-managed wallet? Then follow the instructions below to add the address.
If you want to add a wallet linked to another crypto provider, follow the instructions on this page.
Navigate in your My Amdax account via the menu to “Address Book,” then select “Add new address.”
On this screen, you can select the crypto asset you want to add to your address book. In this guide, we’ll use Ethereum as an example.
Select the type of wallet you want to add. Is it a wallet you own yourself? Then choose ‘Self-hosted’.
Is it a wallet that is part of another crypto company (for example, Bitvavo)? Then choose ‘Other crypto company’.
Enter a personal label so you can easily recognize your wallet later. Also enter the crypto address you want to add.
You will now see a screen asking you to connect your wallet to Amdax. This step is necessary to confirm that you are the owner of the wallet. The menu may vary depending on the type of wallets you have installed. In this guide, we will show you how to connect with MetaMask.
If MetaMask is installed in your browser, you will be asked to connect to ‘notabene.id’. This is the provider of the wallet linking function. Click ‘Connect’ to link your wallet.
Next, you will see a message that you can sign. This is a standard message stating that you are the owner of the wallet. Click ‘Confirm’ (blue button) to do this. This completes the linking process.
Once the message signing is complete, you will see a green checkmark on your screen. Click ‘Complete’ to finish this step, and then click ‘Continue’ to proceed with the rest of the process.
Enter your password and multi-factor authentication. In our example, this is the 6-digit code from an SMS, but it can also be a code you receive by an authenticator.
At the very end, you will receive an overview of all the information you have provided. If something is incorrect, go back to make the necessary changes.
You'll be able to see your whitelisted address with the current status.
