What are service fees?
At Amdax you pay an annual service fee of 0.6% (also called storage or custody fees) on the value of the crypto-assets held for you. This fee is calculated daily on the current value of your crypto and charged monthly in arrears.
What do the service fees cover?
- Administration and storage — securely managing and storing your crypto portfolio in a structured way.
- Use of the app — access to and use of the platform and the application.
- Additional services — such as support with succession.
- Customer service and experts — ways to get in touch and guidance from Amdax specialists.
How are the service fees deducted?
The fees are first deducted from your euro balance. If that balance is not enough, they are deducted from your crypto balance, with stablecoins used first.
Exceptions
No service fees are charged for crypto-assets in the Earn portfolio. A child account is exempt.
Transaction fees are separate
In addition to the service fees, you pay transaction fees (0.7%) on every purchase or sale. This is separate from the annual service fees.
